Babysitting Mama for the Wii – because a real baby isn’t already a handful

Game publisher, Taito, is releasing a new game that lets you “babysit” instead of cook. “Babysitting Mama” has all the elements of babysitting; it’s just that this time, you’re going to have to pay for it, instead of getting paid to do it.

The game is said to hit stores nationwide early December. The game comes with a unique control in the form of a cute plush baby doll. The player must place the actual Wii remote inside the doll to better interact with the game and the baby.

There are more than 40 different activities that include, feeding, burping, diaper changing, dressing up, playing Peek-A-Boo, and making it fall asleep.

‘Love Plus 3D’ debuts at the Tokyo Game Show

Now boys who prefer virtual girlfriends have something to look forward to.

Konami’s main attraction for the Tokyo Game Show this year is their ‘Love Plus’ booth. The game comes in two arcade titles: ‘Love Plus Arcade and ‘Love Plus Medal Happy Daily Life‘. ‘Love Plus Arcade’ has already undergone a location test, but the second game has been kept under wraps until its reveal at the TGS.

‘Love Plus Medal’ is of course, a medal game with two modes of play: ‘Daily Life Mode’ and ‘Date Mode’. In the ‘Daily Life’ mode, players just have to go through the original story and for every action made, the player can receive medals. ‘Date Mode’ is more of a conversation mode where the player must do everything that it takes to have a successful date with a girl. Aside from the two modes of play, Konami used advanced display technology which projects 3D images of the girls. Players can touch and reach out to the girl and they will react. Konami calls this action “Touch Communication”.

Even though the two Love Plus games at the TGS booth have already been driving some fanboys crazy, it seems that the game company will have more ‘Love Plus’ chapters on the way. During the ‘Love Plus Special Stage’ yesterday, producer Uchida Akari said, “We’ll have some major announcements that everyone has been waiting for. Please look forward to it.”

Just to elaborate, ‘Love Plus Special Stage’ is a contest where fans present their ‘love” for one of the Love Plus girls. The winner of the said contest was Makoto, who gave a speech about his vacation with his Love Plus girlfriend, Nene. To finish his speech, he kissed his DS.

Sega announced at the TGS that they will be releasing ‘Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity’ on February 24, 2011. Players can either purchase the UMD version (¥5,040) or the download version (¥4,500). The announcement for the game was divided into two parts. The first part was announced yesterday when Sega revealed that they are teaming up with Kentucky Fried Chicken in order to make Colonel Sanders a playable character in PSP2i. After the announcement, Sega exhibited some pictures showing Colonel Sanders in the game.

Review: Mini Bluetooth keyboard for your iPhone or other mobile device

Being productive when you travel can be a challenge - especially if you try to travel as light as possible. As many of us have traded in our laptops and netbooks for an iPad or smartphone, typing long amounts of text is a major hassle. Don't get me wrong - I think the on-screen keyboard on the iPhone is one of the best in the market, but trying to type 1000 words on a piece of glass is a pain in the backside.

This is where the Mini Bluetooth Keyboard from Budgetgadgets, com can help. I found this little keyboard when I was browsing for some affordable cables, and have started using it as my new best friend when I need to type more than "I'm running late".

The keyboard is not much larger than the iPhone or iPod itself, and connects over Bluetooth. All the keys are perfectly mapped, which means you even get special characters and cursor keys. The keyboard charges off MicroUSB, and a charger cable is included. Its battery is sufficient for up to four hours of use.

I tested the keyboard on several devices - a 4th generation iPod Touch, the Google Nexus One and a Samsung Galaxy S, and it worked perfectly every time. On the iPhone, iPad and iPod, no additional software is required. On Android devices, you won't need extra software as long as you use it on a phone that supports Bluetooth input devices. If your phone lacks that profile, you can install the included Android application. According to the manufacturer, the keyboard will also work on Windows Mobile and Symbian devices.

I won't pretend that this keyboard is great for typing your next novel, but it does get the job done if you need to reply to some emails or draft a last minute document.

The Mini Bluetooth Keyboard costs $37.68 and is available from Budgetgadgets.com. For that price, you also get a PDA stand and a carrying case. When you check out, apply coupon code SM5OFF33 to take 5% off the purchase price. I have found this keyboard available at other stores for a little less, but none of those come with the case or stand.
